Michael is an experienced real estate attorney who has represented sellers, purchasers, landlords, tenants and borrowers in numerous New York and national transactions. His clients have included major New York City landlords and tenants. Michael has represented Loews Corporation, CNA Insurance, Boston Properties, the Sol Goldman Family, Aby Rosen and Trevor Davis and Connecticut General Life Insurance Company. His clients also include some of the largest parking companies in the City.

Michael has extensive experience drafting and negotiating retail, office and ground leases and contracts of sale for varied types of properties. For example, Michael represented the landlord in connection with the lease to Toys R Us of its flagship store in Times Square. He recently represented a property owner that assembled and sold multiple properties in the Theatre District. Michael has also represented clients in dozens of sale and leaseback transactions with Walmart, Kmart and Circuit City. He has also represented landlords in leases to Starbucks, CVS Corporation, Duane Reade, Polo Ralph Lauren, Pathmark Stores, Supercuts, Ranch 1 and New York University.

Michael, his wife, Karen Lederer, live in New Rochelle and summer on Martha's Vineyard. He is an avid musician.
